Venom really was out there having a full on movie without ANY toxic masculinity. Eddie? A soft, kind good guy. The “Other” Man™ not a jealous jock, but actual good guy who cared about another person who was sick and needed his help. The ex and the new man interacted without objectifying the woman in their life or making her a prize to be won or held or had. I will never stop yelling about how much I love the movie.
